The Anna Griffin layout and card below are great examples of how to use large bold patterned paper in your paper crafts. I used the same sheet of poinsettia paper from the 100 Sheets of Christmas Paper HSN kit. The poinsettia images were very large and I thought they would look great cut out and clustered with some other elements on a scrapbook page. Here's how it turned out on the layout:
Obviously I loved the poinsettias so much, I used them again on this 5x7 card. This time I used them as a background for my card sentiment and focal point. They edges extend just beyond the borders of the card, adding a little extra visual interest. And while a good chuck of the poinsettias are covered, enough of them show through on either side of the sentiment that your eyes automatically fill in the rest.
