mixed media event (formerly cha summer 2017) trade show photos

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Mixed Media Event sponsored by the Association for Creative Industries (AFCI, formerly known as CHA). This is the mid-year, or summer, trade show where various craft manufacturers gather to share their upcoming products with retailers and media.

This is a personal blog, but I am an employee and do receive financial compensation and material product from American Crafts/We R Memory Keepers. This post contains affiliate links to help support my blog. You are not charged any extra cost for purchasing supplies using those affiliate links. All ideas and opinions are my own.

I've included links for some of these new releases. Some of them haven't shipped to retailers yet, but will be shipping soon.

I'll start off with the latest goodies from the American Crafts booth, since that's where I spent most of my time at the trade show.

Here are the newest tools from the We R Memory Keepers brand:

The new Supreme Ruler and Dial Trimmer were big hits. They're definitely staples for any craft room.

I love this addition to the DIY Party Collection--the darling Sprinkle Punch! Perfect for birthday cards, party invites, and making your own confetti.

The new Hole Reinforcer Punch was another hit at the show. Planners, cardmakers, and scrapbookers alike are excited about this new tool.

Of course we had some of our favorites from the last show there as well--the Planner Punch Board and the Stitch Happy sewing machine.

Here are some new releases from some of the other American Crafts brands:

I'm loving this new American Crafts Poster Studio Collection. If you're familiar with the We R Template Studio, you'll recognize a lot of this. And how cute are these new American Crafts Memory Planners?

Vicki Boutin's amazing mixed media collection is perfect for both beginners and experts.

I was so happy to see all my favorite cardstock brands represented.

I can hardly believe it's time to start getting the holiday collections into stores. How cute is this Merry Merry collection from Pebbles, Inc?

And, it's wonderful to welcome Die Cuts With A View to the AC family!

As always, Heidi Swapp has some amazing new goodies.

Can't wait for the Crate Paper Magnet Studio to hit store shelves!

Check out some of the other AC brands and their new collections. Love these new Halloween collections from Pink Paislee and American Crafts.

Jen Hadfield and 1Canoe2 have some darling collections coming soon--family/home and outdoors themed, respectively.

Paige Evans new "Turn the Page" collection is gorgeous--all about new beginnings and new chapters in life. I love all the options and versatility available through AC now. Awesome!

Here are some of the other manufacturers I stopped by while at the show:

The Doodlebug booth was adorable as always! Love the happy colors!

I also loved all the new Echo Park collections. Their style, patterns and colors are always right on.

My favorite holiday collection I saw at the show was the Kaiser Craft Mint Wishes collection. I just love the colors and the various wood grains and images. Gorgeous!

And here's a peek at some of the gorgeous projects on display at the Graphic 45 booth. Their designers always out-do themselves! Amazing!

Well, that's all I've got friends. I didn't have much time to visit other manufacturers this year, but it was fun to see various trends and new products coming out. Thanks for stopping by!
