Most of you know that in February of this year when the new Big Picture Classes website launched I started a new yearlong scrapbook workshop called Document 2015. As part of this class, each month I share an example layout, a single and double page sketch, instructions, tips, and videos to help students create a beautiful and meaningful multi-photo scrapbook page. The page can summarize the month in photos and journaling, or it can be about any theme or subject that fits the student's scrapbook needs.
Each month some of the nearly 300 students from around the world share the scrapbook layouts they create in this class (and other classes) in the student gallery, and each month I am blown away by the talent of these students! Not only do they create beautifully designed pages, but they're telling meaningful stories and sharing wonderful memories in their albums. It inspires me, so I thought I would share with you a few of their amazing pages.
Take a peek at this beautiful two page layout by Di Turner based on the June installment in the series. Each month she creates a double page layout using the double page version of the sketch, and adds the corresponding page from her planner. Awesome way to journal, right? Di's pages are always so lovely!
Every project that Kerri C. creates just makes me sigh. She's not only a talented designer, but her photos are gorgeous too. Check out her take on the February layout and sketch--how about that wood veneer journaling card with the string art window? Awesome, huh?
In March we played around with a paint wash border, and I just love Marjan Pel's page! The original layout and sketch included 8 photos. Marjan only had one photo so she made the class materials work for her needs. The mint, pink, and gold accents are so yummy! I love her stamping too.
I hope I get to see you in class at my Document 2015 workshop!
