As I mentioned before, we love to visit our friends and neighbors, sing carols, and drop off holiday goodies. Another treat we made to share this year is Cake Mix Snickerdoodles in an upcycled low cal drink mix container. This little tube is the perfect size for cookies and is food grade so no worries!
I started by trimming my paper to fit the tube (6 ¼” x 10” in this case). Then I wrapped the paper around the tube and hot glued the ends down. I cut a 2” x 10” and a 1” x 10” border to fit around the tube and hot glued them down.
Then I filled the decorated tube with some Cake Mix Snickerdoodles. I love to use easy recipes during the holiday season to save time. These cookies are quick and delicious. Here’s the recipe:
Cake Mix Snickerdoodles
1 vanilla or white cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine (1/2 cup)
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 stick butter or margarine (1/2 cup)
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

You're cookie tube is really cute! And the snickerdoodles sound wonderful! I made gingerbread dough yesterday so I'll be baking that today.
Thanks for the recipe! This box is so pretty and the "cookies" look yummy. :)
