back to school teacher gifts

There's nothing like a little teacher gift to help your student get off on the right foot at the beginning of the school year. Here are a couple of teacher gift ideas that you can make with your craft supplies.

Washi Tape Frame

I covered some plain wood craft sticks with Sea Foam Washi Tape. The smaller rolls of We R Memory Keepers washi tape are the same width as the small craft sticks (or popsicle sticks) so they fit perfectly. I just had to trim the excess at each end. For more details and instructions visit the We R blog HERE.

Flower Pencil Jar

Teachers can't seem to get enough writing utensils--probably because they disappear from their desk so quickly. Well these unique and decorative flower pencils will most likely stay put. They're not something that students will easily walk away with by accident.

I made the flowers with my Flower Punch Board, threaded them with florist wire, and wrapped the wire around the pencils with some florist tape. An empty and washed pickle jar makes the perfect container. More details on the We R blog HERE.
