heartstrings valentine

Here's a fun idea for a unique valentine for a special person in your life--give them a heartstrings valentine!  Simply cut out 6 large hearts (all the same size), glue them together back to back to create three double-sided hearts with a string through the centers, and decorate them to your heart's content.  (Oh, that was really bad...sorry.  Couldn't resist.)

Stack up the hearts and place them in an envelope with the top end of the string showing so your recipient can pull the string and watch the hearts unfold out of the envelope.  You can even decorate your envelope to match!

I used the darling Head Over Heels collection from Echo Park Paper Co.  I love the soft pink, bold red, cool aqua, and grounding grey in this collection.  And the artwork is adorable too--love the typewriters, arrows, hand scribbling, and darling tandem bike.  For full supplies for this project, visit the Echo Park blog HERE.
