Lest you think I'm partial to cards, I also love making scrapbook pages with 6x6 pads. There are so many ways you can use those smaller papers on a larger canvas. Take a look:
So, believe it or not, every bit of patterned paper on the above layout is from a 6x6 paper pad. I started with a 12x12 piece of cardstock and placed four identical blue papers in a quadrant for the background. The pink border is actually several punched tab shapes lined up and stitched. I cut apart a striped 6x6 paper to use as a mat for my photo, and I punched a tag for my journaling. To embellish the page I cut out some doily images from one of the papers.
For this layout I divided the background in half, and then cut some large butterflies with my Cuttlebug and placed them in a quadrant. I also used my Cuttlebug to create some handmade flower embellishments.
I hope these projects inspire your 6x6 paper pad crafting. Happy scrapping!
