We R Memory Keepers sold their Sew Ribbon tool on HSN last week, and here are some projects I created for that segment:
This time I used the Sew Ribbon tool on one of the embossed border stickers on this layout, and I threaded some baker's twine through the sewn ribbon. That's me on my 38th birthday. Whew. I'm getting old!
For this card, I stitched a ribbon border all the way around. I've never done a full border all the way around like that--it was fun!
Both of these used the Good Day Sunshine collection, which is one of my favorites because it is so versatile. Plus I just love the orange and green. Then they went and added the teal and denim--so yummy!
In addition to selling the Sew Ribbon tool, We R Memory Keepers also sold their Lucky 8 punches on HSN again. Here are some projects I created with the Good Day Sunshine line for that segment:
For this layout I punched the white cardstock using both the inner and outer cuts of the floral burst punch, and then I cut the orange cardstock you see behind it using only the outer cut so that the orange would show through the punched flowers. I like the look it creates--pretty cool! That's a classic Faith photo--just waiting to be served lunch with her feet up on the table. =)
This Easter basket is one of my favorite projects I've made with the Lucky 8 punches. I used the inner cut of the doily punch, and the outer cut of the retro scallop punch (you've got to punch them in that order if you do this). I punched two 12x12 sheets of cardstock and then scored them horizontally in the center, and vertically almost 3 inches in from each side. I then cut along the middle fold from the sides to the vertical folds, and then fit the two pieces of cardstock together to make a basket. I adhered everything with a glue gun so it would hold well. I used a Sew Ribbon tool to create the border, but instead of sewing with ribbon I used patterned paper. It was fun to make!
