WRMK cottontails projects + a giveaway!

We R Memory Keepers releases/features one new paper collection each month.  They also feature one tool each month.  This month it's the Cotton Tail collection (for spring/Easter) and the Mini Tool Kit and Magnetic Mat.

Here's what I made with those combined products:

Easter layout

To dress up the polka dot background for my photos, I added pink and purple brads to the glittered dots.  The brad setter tool made this really easy.  Just pierce holes with the sharp end, and then...
...use the setting tool to bend back the ends of the brad.  Before I had this tool I would use my 1/8 inch hole punch, but that hole was just a bit too big and the brads wouldn't stay securely.  I would have used my paper piercer, but the holes would have been too small to for the brads ends to fit.  This tool creates just the right size hole to fit the brad ends and hold the brads securely, and then has the setter to boot!

Easter card

(That washi tape ships in May.  Woo hoo!)
For this card I used the small precision scissors to trim the artisan label and to cut the banner shape in the light pink paper strip.  I have a few pairs of small precision scissors and honestly this pair is my go-to favorite pair.  They're comfortable, non-stick, and they're chisel tip so they don't rip when you cut all the way to the end of the blades.  Love that!

GIVEAWAY!!

So...since Easter is coming up I decided to do a little giveaway for you, my wonderful readers.  This Cotton Tail kit includes four double-sided patterned papers, four sheets of textured cardstock (2 lavender, 2 white), four 6x6 single-sided patterned papers, four sheets from the 4x6 albums made easy pad, three die-cut tags, a package of chipboard tags, and a set of matching botanical clear stamps.

If you'd like to be considered for this giveaway, please leave a comment on this post telling me about any Easter crafting plans you have.  Comments will remain open until Thursday at midnight (MDT) and I'll announce a winner on Friday morning.  Please remember to check back to see if you won.  Good luck!

So pretty! I really like the brad look within the dots. I don't think I have any particular Easter crafting that will be done besides my normal scrapbooking and dyeing easter eggs. Thanks for the chance!

I really like the layouts with this collection. My main crafting project is a series of 6 x 6 albums documenting this Easter as a book of memories for my oldest granddaughter. I have a set of 6 and this year will make 7. I have to add I admire your step outs.

love this little easter paper kit, thank you for offering it as a prize. I do have some Easter plans for crafting, mainly taking a little tree branch and covering it with paper flowers, colored eggs and butterflies for a table centerpiece. That mini tool kit sure looks handy.
